factsfirst™ makes learning fun! Children develop fluency in basic math facts through an adaptive approach that incorporates placement testing, lessons, reviews, and practice. Arcade style games reward students upon completion of a unit and draw on math fact knowledge. Developing automatic recall of basic facts builds a strong math foundation and lets your child focus on higher-order math skills such as problem solving and algebra.
To start, each child is encouraged to create a self portrait in the Character Creator. The image each child creates is featured in every lesson throughout the product.

The lessons consist of five basic segments; new facts, commutative property, practice, quiz, and scoring. New facts are gradually introduced to children as they work toward mastery. Facts are grouped in units with each lesson in a unit introducing two new facts. A child masters these facts before starting another unit.

More than 360 activities engage and encourage children to quickly and accurately respond to questions and advance to the next set of facts.
